We pretty much spent the whole month of February sick with Influenza. It's the first time it has visited our house. I think Chris has had it before, but it was a new experience for the rest of us. I don't think I ever had it as a kid either! With 7 people in our family it passed from one person to another over three weeks. Just when we thought it was gone...it would rear it's ugly head in another kid. I think we are finally over the flu, just in time to get.......
Spring Fever!
Thankfully, we have a trip to St. George planned in April. It couldn't come sooner. It's been a long winter for us. In the meantime, I could use a few warm days here and there to get outside and breathe fresh air and airing out my house wouldn't hurt either! This month, I'm going to plan my summer...decide what to plant in my garden this year, plant my peas and radishes, schedule Eden's Abbe Flap surgery (I'll blog more on that at a later date!), begin the majority of family birthday celebrations (5 of 7 are between Mar. -June), decide what to wear to my 20 yr high school reunion this summer (ha ha ha...j/k), plan a few camp-outs and maybe another trip to Yellowstone. Here's to thinking thoughts of warmer days!!!
Is now the time to plant peas? I think we never know so we miss it. The flu sucks. This winter I have been taking zinc religiously every day and even through Steph's hellacious sinus and lung infection, I got a little sniffle, but it was only around for a couple days and that's about it...other than migraines. Are they back?
ReplyDeleteYou're not the only one with spring fever. It gets so nice then BAM another snow storm. I wouldn't mind a little warmth! So sorry you've been sick.
